Aruna email Disaster Recovery and Secure off-site backups
June 4th, 2007We just wanted to tell you about one of the many pieces of our disaster recovery plans for Aruna email. It is obviously not likely that any emergency plans are executed but that is what they are plans, just in case.
First, the data on your Aruna email is on a redundant disk array. If drives fail then the other ones take over and nothing is lost. In addition to this, we make sure your Aruna email data is backed up twice daily to a secondary source inside the same datacenter. Lastly, we do daily off-site backups to our servers in a datacenter that is physically separated to the main Aruna servers. Of course this data is first encrypted before being sent over to our other datacenter.
We just want to make sure you are aware that we are ready for the worst case scenario and / or disasters. No matter what happens we will make sure your corporate email data is kept safe, secure and available to you.
