We have another widget rolling off the presses here at Aruna Labs. Today we are releasing the Aruna URL Yahoo! Widget. This widget will allow you to make short URLs or web links from your desktop without having to go to the www.arunaURL.com website. Here are some screenshots:

Enter the URL that you want to shorten and then click “Make it small”

Your short URL / web link is given back to you. You can now copy it and then use it as you wish.

If you don’t have Yahoo! Widgets installed yet, we highly recommend it. There are over 4000 widgets that make your life on Mac or PC much easier.

Here is what the Yahoo! Widgets tool bar looks like (Aruna URL is the yellow one!)

To use the Aruna URL Yahoo! Widget:

1. Go to widgets.yahoo.com and install the widget software
2. Download the Aruna URL widget here (first unzip it, then double click the .widget file it to launch it)
3. That’s it! Go ahead and make URLs with ArunaURL on your desktop. It is free!
